Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
In this Ongoing Course, students will review Equivalent Fractions, Simplifying Fractions, Improper Fractions, and Mixed Numbers, Factors, Multiples, Changing Fractions to Decimals, and Changing Mixed Numbers to Decimals, and more.  The teacher will demonstrate how to solve problems.  Students will work with the teacher and independently. Students should know how to solve these types of problems and need review and practice.  Students should also know how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions.  Students who have these skills and understand fractions could do well in this class.

Hello everyone!  Welcome to Outschool!  
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you!  I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too.  I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online.  When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person.  My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups.  I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License.  I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also.  My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways.  I love to have fun while learning!  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
