Description

Class Experience

Dolphins are one of the smartest and friendliest animals in the ocean.  We will explore fun facts about dolphins while practicing new vocabulary words, pronunciation, and conversation patterns.  I believe that children learn English best when they are having fun, so I utilize engaging images, activities, and games to keep your learner interested throughout the class.  I use communicative teaching practices and encourage students to use what they have learned and already know in scaffolded...

Students will be able to identify, pronounce, and use the vocabulary from each lesson to describe and discuss dolphins.  They will be able to use what they learn along with previous knowledge to complete comprehension tasks and engage other students in conversation about dolphins.

No homework will be assigned in this class.

There will not be any formal assessment in this class, but I can provide personalized feedback for your learner upon request.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
