This ongoing class will be all about dogs! Each week we will discuss in detail the origin of the specific dog breed, dog size, what the dog was originally bred for, how each breed got its name, life expectancy, temperament, and so much more! Students will get a chance to share any information about the dog breed that they may know. If the student has the dog breed that we will be discussing that week, they are encouraged to bring the dog to class to show and tell us all about their pet....
-Students will learn statistics about different dog breeds for their own information and to help them make informed decisions about the type of dog they would want in the future. -Students will learn basic note-taking skills while keeping a resource journal of dog breeds. (optional to complete) -Students will be able to speak about what they have learned for the dog breed of the week as well as share any other knowledge they may have of the dog breed.
-Notebook (optional) - writing utensil for notes (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
