Dino-obsessed students can join us for an exploration of the ancient world and our incredible museum collection. This 6 week class will explore a different topic every week & provide a welcoming environment for all fans of dinosaurs!

US Grade 1 - 4
Beginner - Advanced Level
This is an ongoing 6-week class, that repeats at different semesters over the year. The content repeats every 6 weeks but new modules will be added over time to allow for a different experience. Meetings happen once a week over the 6 week period. Each week will provide a different topic that will utilize our amazing museum collection, with pieces from institutions all around the world. Our main focus is to give dinosaur fans a safe-space to talk about their favourite subject. During our lessons, students are encouraged to share thoughts, theories and opinions on our weekly subject. Students will learn about observation techniques, critical thinking and be able to see science in action as we present the latest news from the field that might challenge preconceived notions. Dinosaur enthusiasts will also discover the importance of artists in bringing fossils to life.
As a dinosaur obsessed 4 year-old, I had always dreamed of working in museums or digging up dinosaurs! As a trained artist, I was privileged to be able to work with one of the world's largest museum display companies. I did fossil prep, mounted skeletons and sculpted dinosaurs for museums around the world. T.rex in Chicago, whales in West Virginia, planets in NYC and so much more. After a decade of building dinosaurs, I transitioned to being a stay-at-home dad for my son, while I built my own business, Club Rex. Club Rex is a travelling museum that offers programs in schools, libraries and other facilities, that has been in operation since 2010. It's all for the love of dinosaurs!
