US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this one time 30 minute class, we will be learning all about the age of the dinosaurs. We will discuss what dinosaurs are, where and when they lived, the first dinosaurs, where they went, and the major types of dinosaurs. In this class I will be combining up to date paleontology on dinosaurs with a fun classroom environment that emphasizes creativity and engagement along with learning. Students will be actively engaged in the class through questions and discussion about their favorite dinosaurs and on the course material, with the class ending with a name that dinosaur game. No prior knowledge or experience is required, but a love of dinosaurs is encouraged. This course covers material from my All About Dinosaurs! (Ages 8-12) course, but is less technical and geared more towards a younger audience. Hope to see you in class!
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the different types of dinosaur, when and where they lived, what the first dinosaurs were like, why they went extinct, and where we might see there ancestors alive today.
