🦋🐛🦋🐛🦋🐛🦋🐛🦋🐛🦋 In this one time class, the students will listen to fiction and non fiction stories during the "research" part of the class. Together we will brainstorm caterpillar and butterfly facts and discuss the life cycle of a butterfly. During the directed drawing portion of the class, the students will draw and color a butterfly life cycle. They will share the butterfly with their classmates, if they feel comfortable doing so. The students will then label the life cycle stages using...
-Student will use listening skills by focusing on caterpillar and butterfly facts. -Student will use research skills to gather information about the lifecycle of a butterfly. -Student will use creative skills by drawing and coloring a butterfly life cycle. -Student will use writing skills to create sentences and labels about the life cycle of a butterfly.
The students will need paper, a pencil and crayons or colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
