Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to identify the metamorphosis process as well as the body parts of butterflies. Students will be able to visually compare different butterfly species.
As a teacher and mom to five young children, I like to curate a child's curiosity about the world around them. My children and I love to visit a local butterfly sanctuary where we have learned all about these fascinating creatures and I can't wait to share what we have learned with you.
To create their butterflies students will need the following: - coffee filters (at least two) - washable markers - a pipe cleaner
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
