Description
Class Experience
Each week we will explore a different insect. We will learn about its life cycle, habitat, and other interesting facts. We will learn through stories and videos. Our class will begin with the story, then move to the video, and finish with a related bug craft. I like to use PowerPoint to show the stories and videos. We will work together on the craft. There may be some craft prep work needed, depending on the craft. We will try and complete the craft in class, but dependent on a student's skill level, may be finished outside of class.
A supply list will be distributed several days prior to the class for the week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Younger students may need some assistance with the craft portion of the class.
