40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Our class will begin with a show and share. Please have little learners bring their favorite toy or stuffed animal. Then we will start with a greeting song and move into discussion about spring and the changes we see around us. Friends will learn about different types of birds by viewing a few pictures of them and learning the names of few common birds we might see. Then we will dive into our craft to make a paper plate bird nest. Friends will also make binoculars by using toilet paper rolls to bird watch while we sing a song about them. We will end our class with a discussion about what we learned and sing a goodbye song.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their discussion skills, fine motor skills, taking turns to talk, listening and being proud of their work and recognizing their own uniqueness and skill set as well as recognize nature around them.
