Class Experience

In this one-time class we will take a deep dive into the world of bees. I am a beekeeper and nature educator, and love spreading this knowledge to our youth! In this course we will explore:

- The roles of worker bees, drones, and the Queen in the hive
- The anatomical differences between the three bee types in the hive (worker, drone, queen)
- The honeybee lifecycle
- How the hive functions as a superorganism
- The role of bees in the environment
- Dangers faced by the bees in our modern...

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
