In this 5 day camp we will learn all about the world of ants while practicing math, science, phonics and art skills. Each day, there will be a new hands on activity where we will learn about the life of ants.

In this 5 day camp we will be learning all about the wonderful world of ants! Each day, we will do a different hands on activity about ant colonies, anatomy of an ant, we will make an ant craft, and our own ant book. At the beginning of each class, we will spend the first few minutes introducing ourselves and getting to know our new friends for the week. Then, we will read a story to go along with our topic for the day. After our story, we will do our activity for the day. Monday: Ants on a long Tuesday: Ant colonies Wednesday: Life cycle of an ant Thursday: Egg carton ant Friday: Ant Book Children will be encouraged to interact throughout the class with each other as well as myself. There will be some quiet time during our story, however, the activity will be very interactive. No required experience or knowledge is needed for this class.
