Students will read a different nonfiction book about animals each week before class and then discuss the book in class.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 5
Each week students will download and read a different nonfiction book about animals before class. During the class we will discuss the animals in the book, what they learned from the book, and things they found interesting. Students will have the opportunity to also share any interesting information that they know about the topic that wasn't in the book. At the end of each class students will be given optional activities that they may complete to build upon what they learned from each...
Students will work on reading, understanding non-fiction, and making connections to their reading.

Homework Offered
Each week before class students will need to read the 9-16 page book. This could take anywhere from 15-45 minutes. There will also be an optional activity that students may choose to complete after each class.Assessments Offered
