All About Animals - Intro
We'll specifically look at sharks, penguins and giraffes. This is to compare aquatic, semi-aquatic and land animals. We will be watching YouTube live and learn vertebrae anatomy!

We will label vertebrae anatomy for a shark, penguin and giraffe. They will be asked to draw and label on a piece of paper. This will allow visual learners to retain information. Screen sharing will be used so students will not need to access YouTube live. We'll look at a giraffe. What it's doing and why. During class, students will be asked what they're favorite animal is, find at least 1 interesting fact and 1 thing they have learned. No prior knowledge is needed, however please have a pencil and paper ready. Dressing up like their favorite animal is highly encouraged.
