Welcome to "All about Ancient Greece"! This course is designed for curious minds aged 12-18 who are eager to delve into the rich history, philosophy, the extraordinary conquests of Alexander the Great, and his lasting legacy on the Ancient world. This course will combine engaging lectures and interactive discussions creating a fun learning environment for the student. I will deliver engaging lectures using multimedia aids to introduce historical and philosophical concepts. The lectures will incorporate visuals, storytelling, and real-world connections to captivate students and create a strong foundational understanding of the subject matter. Emphasizing the Socratic Method, I will encourage students to engage in thoughtful dialogue, asking probing questions to stimulate critical thinking and encourage students to articulate and defend their ideas and beliefs. The lectures will be delivered through PowerPoint presentation.

The course will delve into philosophical concepts explored by ancient Greek philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. These discussions may touch upon abstract ideas related to ethics, politics, and metaphysics, which could be intellectually challenging for some students. Ancient Greece had a rich history that included wars, politics, and societal norms. While we will present historical events in an educational context, some discussions may include mature themes related to warfare, power dynamics, and societal structures.
