I was born, raised and still live on a farm. My dad came from a long line of farmers. He raised cattle and grew crops such as soybeans and corn. My husband and I live on a farm and raise quarter horses. We do help our neighbors our by taking care of their bottle calves if something happens to the mother.
No homework and the hands on activities are just an option to do at home to increase their knowledge.
I will provide all resources and handouts. There may be some things the students will need for the at home activities. But those activities are optional. Most of the time the students will not need any materials for class. I may suggest to bring something but I understand if it isn't in the home.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No formal assessment will be given. I will assess through discussion questions, games and the learning from home activities.
