Class Experience

In this ongoing adding and subtracting of like and unlike fractions course, students will practice and review adding and subtracting like and unlike fractions.  Students will observe the teacher solving problems, practice with the teacher, and practice independently to show understanding.  Students should know how to add and subtract, be familiar with what fractions are, and how to represent them.  This class will be divided into two sections, practice, and self-assessment. Gain an understanding of adding Mixed Numbers
Gain an understanding of Subtracting Mixed Numbers

It is helpful if students continue to practice adding like and unlike fractions.
