In this 1-day class students will explore, discuss, and debate the possibility of aliens, scientific efforts to find alien civilizations, the pros and cons of attempting contact, and more!

Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6

In this 1-day class students will: 

* cover essential vocabulary
* discuss and analyze the Fermi Paradox and the Drake Equation
* contemplate and debate the pros and cons of attempting alien contact 
* analyze and discuss an article in which the late Dr. Stephen Hawking warns about attempting contact with aliens
* enjoy the short story “Galactic Zap” by award-winning children’s author David Lubar

At the end of this class families will receive a PDF offering exciting ways to take their exploration of aliens even further!
