Description
Class Experience
I will cover any Algebra topic your student is interested in. I typically adapt my teaching style to the needs of the students. I break down problems into parts, figure out where the student is getting stuck, and focus on the skills needed to solve the problem. I've noticed some students prefer verbal explanations, some want to see examples. Breaking down Algebra problems, and figuring out how to solve them step-by-step, is helpful for many. If one way does not work, I will explain it...
My goal is for the student to be able to solve similar problems in the future without help, and eventually be able to apply Algebra in everyday life situations.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
