This is a self-paced class conducted in a six week course that covers an overview of specific concepts learned in Algebra 1 that will help students in Geometry and Algebra 2.

Students will review order of operations, Solving Equations, Simplifying Square Roots, Rules of Exponents, Polynomials and Factor. These concepts are helpful in Geometry and Algebra 2. I will post 3 to 4 videos weekly with a pdf of assignments and a weekly quiz. In addition, I will post a cumulative assessment the last week. - This course is designed to strengthen specific concepts learned in Algebra 1 that will help students be successful in Geometry and Algebra 2.
I have a BS degree in Mathematics and an Masters in Education and I have taught for 30 years in public school and 4 years in Outschool. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus.

I will in addition post an answer key the next day so that you can check your answers. In addition I will post a weekly assessments using a pdf file or from Ck-12.org. Students should have taken a pre algebra or Algebra 1. If you have already taken Algebra 1, this class will help you solidify specific concepts. Note: This is not a complete Algebra 1 course but more a review of important concepts.
