  • This course is designed to strengthen specific concepts learned in Algebra 1 that will help students be successful in Geometry and Algebra 2.
 I have a BS degree in Mathematics and an Masters in Education and I have taught for 30 years in public school and 4 years in Outschool.  I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus.
2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Details: Students will have assignments in the form of a pdf after each video. I will in addition post an answer key the next day so that you can check your answers. In addition I will post a weekly assessments using a pdf file or from Ck-12.org. Note: A class code will be given for the Ck-12.org assessments.

Details: An average grade is offered if all class work is completed and turned in.
Students should have taken a pre algebra or Algebra 1.  If you have already taken Algebra 1, this class will help you solidify specific concepts.
Note:  This is not a complete Algebra 1 course but more  a review of important concepts.

This class uses ck-12.org which requires  students  to create an account with Ck-12.org. I will provide a class code for students.
