Students will review order of operations, Solving Equations, Simplifying Square Roots, Rules of Exponents, Polynomials and Factor. These concepts are helpful in Geometry and Algebra 2. I will post 3 to 4 videos weekly with a pdf of assignments and a weekly quiz. In addition, I will post a cumulative assessment the last week. - This course is designed to strengthen specific concepts learned in Algebra 1 that will help students be successful in Geometry and Algebra 2.
I have a BS degree in Mathematics and an Masters in Education and I have taught for 30 years in public school and 4 years in Outschool. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus.

Students should have taken a pre algebra or Algebra 1. If you have already taken Algebra 1, this class will help you solidify specific concepts. Note: This is not a complete Algebra 1 course but more a review of important concepts.
