In this algebra math class students will learn how to multiply binomials using the FOIL method. During this class, the teacher will model how to use the FOIL method to multiply binomials. While modeling, color will be used to help students break down information visually. After the skill is modeled, students will be given an opportunity to practice the skill using the annotation tools in class. Guidance will be provided by the teacher as students work to solve given problems. Students will be encouraged to work with other classmates to solve given problems. Prerequisite knowledge: Students should have an understanding of multiplying, multiplying variables, and combining like terms. Practice/homework will be provided upon request.
