Motion problems will be taught in this class. If this question challenges you, then please take my class: Two cars start at the same place but travel in opposite directions. One car averages 42 miles per hour and the other averages 51 miles per hour. How many hours will it be before the cars are 651 miles apart? The class is structured by going over numerous worked problems, step-by-step, on the whiteboard share-screen on zoom. I will teach by showing an example, then asking each student in class what the next step is on the following problem. My teaching style is to place the students in a successful position to understand and then apply the motion skills. The students will interact with me and each other by going over worked solutions of the motion problems. The knowledge required for this motion class is understand variables, combine like terms, and solve equations.
Learning Goals
