This 4-week academic boot camp is for students who already took Algebra I and need a refresher. This camp welcomes students who want a head start in their upcoming math classes, as well. Let's fight the "summer slump" together!

Welcome to the Algebra I Boot Camp course. This course will be an accelerated review of the entire Algebra I course. We will practice a large number of different types of math problems to solidify the skills students have already learned. Students who have already taken Pre-Algebra and wanted a head start for their upcoming Algebra class are welcome to enroll. This course would also help students prepare for their EOC for Algebra, as well. The class will use a PowerPoint presentation, with discussion and many practice problems. I will model first, then we collaborate together as a class and then students will have opportunity to for independent practice. There will be interactive activities done through the four weeks.
Learning Goals
Students will solidify their understanding of Algebraic concepts such as graphing, linear equations, exponential functions, variable expressions, quadratic equations and more.
