Algebra I Review for the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) Course

Class
In this one time course students will review the basics of Algebra I in a game like atmosphere. Students will be given review questions and provided immediate feedback on their progress. Questions are based on the Virginia SOL curriculum.

Description

Class Experience

By the end of the 45 minute sessions students will grasp a better knowledge of solving one and two step equations an inequalities as shown by the ability to solve equations with 75% accuracy. Students will have a deeper understanding of linear relationships and will be able to approach questions regarding these relationships in various ways. Students will leave the 45 minute session with test taking strategies to go confidently into their final assessment.
M.Ed Special Education, Algebra I endorsement
Prior to the course students should complete the "pre-quiz" for personal and instructor feedback. At the conclusion of the course students will complete a post class practice quiz for personal as well as instructor feedback. Each student will receive a practice test with answer key for further Algebra I review. 
Dre Erase Board with marker or Pencil and Paper.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Student progress will be assessed with an informal quiz at the conclusion of the review session for personal feedback as well as instructor feedback.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Questions are based on the Virginia Standards of Learning for Algebra I.
