Factoring is the most essential skill used in Algebra from 8th grade to fist year of college. In fact many students do not do well in future Algebra classes because they never learned factoring properly.
If your student is prepared now, he will NOT have to take remedial classes or summer school.

For a quick description see the video above. The way I teach this skill is very easy to learn and your child will be prepared for success in Algebra. I will show students how to do an exercise on the whiteboard. They will learn by actually doing example exercises during class. I will repeat with another exercise and will explain as many times as needed until the students are ready to do the exercises by themselves. Students will learn to "take algebraic expressions apart" (FACTORING). This is an absolutely essential, required skill in Algebra. It helps with common core curriculum with the S.A.T. and with any Mathematics entrance exam for high school or college. It reinforces Algebra skills like no other.
