Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to solve linear equations, including combining like terms, the distributive property and rearranging formulas. These are the basic skills that once acquired will help the students be successful in future Algebra topics studied.
Students are encouraged, but not required, to complete about 30 minutes of homework each day. This course includes access to a digital problem bank providing immediate feedback for students and allows the instructor to monitor progress.
I will want each learner to have a notebook in which all work can be done. A calculator is optional.
Upon request, I can assess and provide a letter grade to communicate to parents a student's performance compared to the learning goals of the course.
3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
