Algebra 2 is a course designed to prepare students for PreCalculus.  This Algebra 2 course also includes Trignometry so students will be prepared for their next course.  Students must have completed Algebra 1 and Geometry before enrolling.  This course is presented in 2 Semesters.  If you need an academic grade in this course, you will need to complete and turn in assessments in order for me to determine a grade.  Students should have a TI -84 Calculator or equivalent, we will learn to use technology as well as how to solve problems by hand.  You can use online calculators if necessary but learning how to use a graphing calculator is a process that takes time.  This will be an interactive class but discussion can be done verbally or through the classroom chat.  While attendance is necessary to learn, if you are absent, please reach out if the recording isn't working and I will help you catch up by either answering questions or providing you a different recording.

Material will be presented through exploring concepts and discovering relationships between mathematical concepts.  There will be examples, practice and exploration.  Students will be given an example or exploration activity, then will work with the instructor to understand problems then they will solve problems on their own or in a group.  Students will print out the work and will require a printer.  It is suggested that you keep your work in an organized binder.  It is important to me as a teacher to provide a safe environment where students can share in their own style.

Week 13: Composite, Recursive and explicit functions
Week 14: Exponential and Logarithmic models
