## Description

#### Class Experience

Each session will cover several math concepts learned in Algebra 2. By the end of the 2-week course, learners should fully comprehend all topics listed in the course outline below, and understand why they are important and how they relate to other math concepts covered in Geometry and Precalculus/Trigonometry: Class 1: Polynomial functions (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, factorization), polynomial graphs Class 2: Complex numbers, rational exponent and radicals, exponential models, logarithms Class 3: Transformation of functions, unique equations, excluded values/extraneous solutions Class 4: Introduction to trigonometry, modeling with multiple variables

Homework will not be assigned regularly unless extra practice problems are required for comprehension. I will provide a short take-home quiz after each class to review prior to the following class, and supplemental practice problems can be provided if desired.

Just paper, a pencil, and a graphing calculator if you have one!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No formal assessment will be given, but will instead be based on class engagement, participation, and concept comprehension. I will provide a short take-home quiz after each class to review concepts we covered, and we will review as a group the following class.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
