Each week, we will cover a different Algebra 2 topic. This will be a highly interactive class, we will be using nearpod.com for classes which is an interactive learning tool that allows learners to participate through polls, activities and games. I will be teaching using the 'I do, we do, you do' approach - I will explain the concepts and discuss them with the students, demonstrate various examples, and provide students with examples, activities and games so that they can be active...
I am currently a professor teaching Math to first and second year students at Sheridan College. I have taught several courses including algebra, precalculus, calculus, advanced functions, etc., as well as tutored students of all ages in math for the past 10 years, both privately and in a well established tutoring center. I have my undergraduate degree in Honors Mathematics and Statistics and a Master's degree in Mathematics with a research focus on Mathematics Education.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
