Students will improve their knowledge on beginner Algebra 2 concepts: number sets, square roots, exponents, functions, notation, and transformations. Students will learn to simplify, add, subtract, multiply, and divide square roots and algebraic expressions. Students will learn to perform transformations to different functions.
Students will be given homework that is optional and used to practice their understanding at home. Students will be given an answer key to check their work at home.
Students will need paper and a pencil/pen for practice problems. Students will need graphing paper for practice problems.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Every week will end with an optional quiz that will test students understanding. These quizzes will be checked and graded by the teacher to show learners/parents their progress with Algebra 2.
