Class Experience

The goal of the course is to achieve competency in the Algebra 2 material which will make the students well prepared for further courses in Mathematics such as calculus. Each topic has separate learning goals within it.
There is no homework requirement for the course.
Pen Calculator Notepad
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment is taken throughout the lesson. In the starter students mark their progress out of 4 and this is used to determine what level of worksheet they go on to. Whiteboard is self marked for every question and students can see what they get right and what they need to work on in live time. Worksheet answers are provided to assess progress. In the plenary students can assess progress against starter score.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
