Description

Class Experience

This is the 4th of 5 Algebra 2 camps that I offer.  Students do not need to take my earlier modules to be prepared for this module.  This course is great for students who have taken Algebra 2 and want to freshen their skills, or for a student who is preparing to take Algebra 2.  An approximate daily outline is below:

Day 1:   Connecting 3 basic trig functions to the right triangle
Day 2:   Modeling with trigonometry
Day 3:   The Unit Circle
Day 3:   Graphing the Sine and Cosine functions

Students are encouraged to complete 30-45 minutes of homework each day.  Registration for this class includes access to an online test bank that provides immediate feedback and allows the instructor to monitor progress.

Upon request, I can assess and provide a letter grade to communicate to parents a student's performance compared to the learning goals of the course.

3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
