Description
Class Experience
Learners will review and improve their understanding of mixture, distance ,work and system of equation word problems from Algebra 1. Day One (Mixture Word Problems) Learners can solve mixture word problems and improve their skills by working with algebra and percentages. Day Two (Distance Word Problems) Learners can solve distance word problems and improve their skills by working with algebra and unit conversions. Day Three (Work Word Problems) Learners can solve work word problems and improve their skills by working with algebra and ratios. Day Four (System of Equations) Learners can solve word problems with system of equations and improve their algebra and graphing skills.
Practice problems can be provided on the topics discussed. These are optional.
Paper and Pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
