US Grade 6 - 8
This is part one of two part Algebra 1 camp and is designed to cover all important topics in Algebra 1. This course will also help to deepen knowledge and understanding in the subject. I introduce the topic with notes, example questions, and involve students a lot to make sure they are following along. Students are guided through the problems and they are encouraged to ask questions. Each session is focused on a certain topic from Algebra 1 and students can also bring their questions from that topic to discuss in the class. I use a digital whiteboard to share worksheets and show steps on the same whiteboard. I suggest that students are familiar with Pre Algebra content before taking this course. The content covered will be as follows: Day 1 Solving Linear Equations Day 2 Writing Linear Functions Day 3 Solving System of Linear Functions Day 4 Solving System of Linear Functions Day 5 Exponential Functions and Sequences Day 6 Exponential Functions and Sequences Day 7 Polynomial Equations and Factoring Day 8 Review
