There is no work required outside of class, but additional learning opportunities and practice questions will be made available and are highly encouraged.
Digital handouts with be available to all students. If you have a printer and prefer using paper rather than filling out digitally that is also acceptable.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will take a brief assessment each week to evaluate their progress on the week's skills. Scores will be available for both students and families to view at any time.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Google Classroom will be used to post handouts with answer keys, as well as additional practice and resources. Formative is used to allow students to take notes digitally in tablet mode, and allows me to see what they are writing on their digital handouts in order to provide timely feedback and keep students on task. Delta Math is a great free resource that I will be using to assess student's weekly progress. It provides students with practice problems and I am able to watch them work in real-time.
