In this One Time Class, students will learn and practice solving systems using the elimination method and then finding the other variable by substitution.

In this class students will learn and practice problems solving systems using elimination. For this class students need to know arithmetic like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, also know fractions, variables of expressions, adding and subtracting real numbers, the distributive property and how to solve multi-step equations. Students will be able to solve systems by adding or subtracting to eliminate a variable.
I have a degree in Civil Engineering and experience teaching mathematics from fractions to advanced topics in engineering.
Students will need pencil, graph paper or a notebook, eraser and they might need to use a multiplication chart.
There is no scary or violent topic in this class.
The students may use a calculator or refer to a multiplication chart, if they feel the need.
