Algebra 1 Readiness Test
Student will receive and complete an Algebra 1 Readiness Test. Parent will return the completed test to the instructor for grading. Parents will receive results of the assessment and recommendations.

US Grade 7 - 11
This class provides a one-time Algebra 1 readiness test to assess a student's readiness for Algebra 1. 1. Enroll in course. 2. Once enrolled the parent will receive a pdf copy of the 15-page test. 3. Parents will print out the 15-page test for their student. 4. We will NOT meet unless you have questions about the procedure. Students are encouraged complete the test in one sitting if at all possible. There is not a time limit. 5. Students will work through the 15-page test on their own time. 6. Students are highly encouraged to show their work on the test or to attach any work completed on scratch paper. 7. Parents will scan or take pictures of the completed 15-page test and any pages showing the student's work. 8. Parent will send the completed test back to me via Outschool messaging. 9. I will then grade the completed test. 10. I will return the results of the assessment with recommendations to the parent. The score will determine a recommendation to remain in Pre-Algebra or to advance to Algebra 1.

Supply List
Calculator (Suggested Graphing calculator if Algebra or higher - TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition) Paper and pencils. Parents need the ability to print out the 15 page test for their student. Parents need the ability to scan or take pictures of the completed 15 page test and any pages showing the student's work to send back to me for grading.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
