Assessment
A 15 page long answer exam will be given to students in a .pdf format as a take home exam. Once completed, students can check their answers against the solutions videos, or against the solutions PDF given.

This class contains a 15 page long answer practice exam that aims to prepare students for their Algebra 1 Final Examination. Each question has been created by Dr. Sullivan to test specific Algebra 1 topics covered through out various Algebra 1 curriculums. The topics that are covered include:

- Equations of a Line
- Inequalities
- Graphing Lines/ Plotting Inequalities
- Absolute Value Functions
- Piecewise Functions
- Domain/Range
- Evaluating Functions
- Systems of Equations
- Factoring Quadratic Equations
- Graphing Quadratic Equations
- Simplifying Exponents/Radicals
- Complex Numbers
- Sequences
- Compound Interest
- Evaluating Logarithms

Once the exam is completed, learner's watch as Dr. Sullivan goes through a detailed description of how to solve each problem on his digital Notability whiteboard. A solutions PDF will also be given to student if they which to see solutions without audio/video explanation.

Note that these topics are not taught in this course. This course is only an Algebra 1 Practice Exam with video and PDF solutions. 

The goal of this course is to give students a clear idea of which topics they are (and are not) prepared for in Algebra 1, before starting their Algebra 1 Final Examinations.

 Welcome to my Algebra 1 Practice Exam.

For best results, use this exam as a tool to gauge what topics you are comfortable with and which topics you need more practice with. 

Not all curriculums cover the same material. If you feel there is a questions that is not covered in your curriculum, feel free to skip that questions. 

Start by opening the Algebra 1 Practice Exam and complete the questions. Once completed, move into Unit #2 and compare your solutions to the videos or solutions .pdf.

Video Solutions with Dr. Sullivan
 In the attached videos, Dr. Sullivan solves each questions with explanation. Use this videos to compare your solutions to his. Remember for many of these questions, there are multiple ways to find the answer.

Learners will requires paper, pencil and a calculator to complete this practice exam.
