Algebra 1 in 4 Weeks

Are you ready for Algebra 1? Get ready with me!
For so many students, math is a challenging and sometimes overwhelming subject. One of the most beautiful things about math is that it teaches students to be problem solvers, independent workers, and critical thinkers.

During this 4-week course, we will learn concepts in an interactive format.  Students will be able to build understanding, have problems modeled for them, and have time to do independent practice where I can check for their understanding.  At the end of each class, students will be given a worksheet/assessment to cover material from the class (and previous classes).  We will go over all correct answers at the beginning of the next class and students will have time to ask questions and discuss solutions and their processes of answering the questions. Students will be sent homework to work on outside of class which will take hardly 45 minutes.

20 minutes - Concept learning
30 minutes - Solving questions

Topics that will be covered in 4 weeks:

📝Solving Multi-Step Equations and Inequalities

📝Slope and Slope-Intercept Form

📅Week 4
📝Systems of Equations

By the end of this 4-week course, students will be exposed to major concepts that make up Algebra 1 and will be better equipped to master and excel in the class. they will also be taught useful tips and tricks to be exceptional in Algebra 1.
