This 8-week course will cover the High School Algebra 1 Common Core Standards. This is a great opportunity for students to get additional help after school, and for homeschooled students to get math instruction for the year.

This 8-week course will cover the Algebra 1 Common Core Standards. The topics will include the following: Unit 6: Exponential Functions and Sequences Week 1: Properties of Exponents, Radicals, and Rational Exponents Week 2: Exponential Functions, Growth, and Decay Week 3: Solving Exponential Equations Week 4: Geometric and Recursive Sequences Unit 7: Polynomial Equations and Factoring Week 5: Adding, Subtracting, and Multiplying Polynomials Week 6: Special Products of Polynomials and...
Taught by a certified high school math teacher.
Students will be provided several homework options after every lesson.
Instructors assess students using homework, quizzes, and unit assessments. These assessments will be graded and shared with families via Outschool, and instructors will provide a report card upon completion of the course.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
All third-party tools are used to supplement learning and maximize engagement. No third-party tool will require login information.
