In this class, students will be taught Algebra 1. In this first quarter of the school year, we will cover the following topics: Systems of Equations, Exponents, Exponential Functions, Polynomials, Factoring, and Quadratic Equations. The class will be structured so that each topic is a unit of learning. Students will not be graded unless the parent explicitly asks for it. Students will be given projects, quizzes, and tests but only as a measure of progress and to gain feedback on their work.
