Description

Class Experience

Each session I will review Algebra 1 curriculum and show students ways to use the Desmos graphing calculator to its fullest potential to help solve and check their answers on high stakes tests. We will use a different set of nationally released test items each week as we revisit all of the standards addressed on the tests. I will demonstrate shortcuts, tricks, and helpful hints using the Desmos Test Mode app, designed specifically for national assessments.

Students will prepare for the Algebra 1 EOC (end-of-course) assessment and learn tips, tricks, and helpful hints as they practice using the Desmos Test Mode app available on many of the state tests. (Please refer to the course description for a list of states.)

We will use a variety of recently released sample items, listed above, which you may want to download or print prior to each session. I will share those during the sessions, as well.
