This week course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of Algebra 1 foundational concepts, as well as provide remediation for a struggling learner currently in this course of study. Students will acquire a basic understanding of Algebra 1 foundational concepts. At the conclusion of this course: a) Students should be well prepared with the tools to be successful in an Algebra 1 course. or b) Students that struggled in Algebra 1, should have a better understanding on the foundational concepts of Algebra 1. This will help prepare them for success prior to entering their next course of study, Geometry/Algebra 2.
Writing Utensil Paper Graphing Calculator (free online) Daily Handout will be posted (may choose to print) *** The calculator is free for student use at home. I will have it available via Zoom sharing during class. *** I will provide/post Daily Handouts through Outschool that will be used throughout the lesson. It is optional if the students chooses to print their own copy. I will have a copy made available during our Zoom sessions for them to use as well. It is NOT a requirement to PRINT them.
