Description

Class Experience

While it is primarily meant to be a workshop, one of the underlying goals is to help students develop independence. A lot of the time will be spent providing a sort of homework help, but I will always be supplementing this with tools that help students ask better questions and find their own answers.
My foundational expertise is having been trained as a classroom teacher and receiving a 7-12 mathematics teacher certification. I have also taught in homeschool classroom settings as well as one-on-one tutoring.
There will be no homework per se, but I might recommend supplementary tasks to help a student hone one or more concepts.
Very simple stuff: - lined notebook AND/OR binder with lined loose-leaf paper - pens AND/OR pencils with erasers
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
