NOTE: The same concepts can be applied by using Google Sheets. Although the class will be primarily taught using MS Excel, if any student does not have Excel installed but has access to Google Sheets, I'll accommodate them by sharing the same functions on Google Sheets. However, I'd appreciate if you please let me know about this situation before the start of the class. In this magical adventure, kids will explore the seemingly magical powers of Excel and learn how it can help them organize their tasks and activities. This class is highly interactive. Throughout the class, kids shall discuss solutions to their magical problems and learn how to use Excel to solve these challenges. As they begin their adventure, I will share a brief overview of what Excel is and how it functions, including the tabs, ribbons, and groups. Throughout their journey, kids will be familiarized with Excel terminologies and its layout. They will learn how to create and work on an Excel spreadsheet. We will create a data set and learn how to make this data presentable. We will then apply different functions to this data like addition, count, average, minimum and maximum value, and most repeated value to open locked doors, defeat magical creatures and make important decisions that will lead them to the final prize of this class: their Magic Wand! No prior familiarity with MS Excel is required for this course. This class is designed to develop the interest of children in learning MS Excel. The purpose of this class is motivate the students to continue their exploration of MS Excel even after the class. By the end of this class, the students will recognize how useful MS Excel is for organizing and planning their tasks and goals. My teaching style is friendly and warm and I encourage everyone to express their thoughts throughout the class. In order to give students a brain break, we will pause our session for 5 minutes after reaching the 30 minutes mark in the class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
MS PowerPoint and MS Excel are my bread and butter as for any Business Manager. I have been utilizing these digital mediums as a very effective communication tool when working with many global organizations. I have been teaching these software to young kids for 2 years so that they can also take advantage of their organization and presentation capabilities. I always say that aptitude in Microsoft Office can save you a whole lot of time, make you more organized, and add value to your capabilities.
