-Class Activities: This is a fun, mobile-app centered one-time digital art and creative writing class. The teacher demonstrates the use of AI art apps, as well as fundamental writing techniques for creating evocative AI "prompt" sentences. Students practice writing these descriptive prompt sentences to generate progressively specific types of creatures, environments, and scenarios. The teacher provides a wide range of pre-written "prompt" sentence examples students can modify in the creation of their first AI images. The results are always unique expressions of each student's creative choices and imagination. Class Philosophy: AI is an imagination accelerator! AI is not a substitute for creativity! AI is not a substitute for writing skills! AI Art is very fun and exciting to explore! We will engage in these activities: - The teacher specifically demonstrates the use of the "Starry AI" app, and how to modulate writing "prompts" for desired results - Students provide verbal and written responses to create AI "prompt" sentences - Students modify their prompt sentences based on the results and modifications of previous AI renders Optional: Post to Instagram and/or Twitch #AIArtClass
