Welcome Aboard! Set sail for this weeklong camp runs Monday through Friday. Campers voyage across the dangerous sea and trek across the jungle island all while learning how to read a map, use prepositions, and learn compass points. I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
Crayons, glue stick, markers, several sheets of plain white paper, scissors, brown paper shopping bag, two plain, basic white paper plates-no plastic coating or styrofoam, three thin popsciple sticks, 4 or 5 Cheerios, 1 piece of black or blown yarn about 10-12 inches, and contraction paper: 1 sheet black, 1 sheet brown, 1 sheet light blue, 1 sheet dark blue, 1 sheet black.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
