Class Experience
Welcome Aboard! Set sail for this weeklong camp runs Monday through Friday. Campers voyage across the dangerous sea and trek across the jungle island all while learning how to read a map, use prepositions, and learn compass points. Activities also include pirate crafts, singing, puzzles, pirate games, reading and discussions on the history of pirates. Shiver me timbers-do not miss out on the fun! I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.

Crayons, glue stick, markers, several sheets of plain white paper, scissors, brown paper shopping bag, two plain, basic white paper plates-no plastic coating or styrofoam, three thin popsciple sticks, 4 or 5 Cheerios, 1 piece of black or blown yarn about 10-12 inches, and contraction paper: 1 sheet black, 1 sheet brown, 1 sheet light blue, 1 sheet dark blue, 1 sheet black.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
