Description
Class Experience
Students will have a clear understanding of the discontent in the American colonies in the years leading up to the Revolutionary War. They will study several events that led up to the Revolutionary War, making decisions for their character.
As an experienced tour guide on the Freedom Trail and National Mall, I have a love and passion for sharing American history. I can’t wait to take your student on this incredible Colonial adventure!
There is no required homework, however, extension activities are suggested and will be presented at the last class by students who chose to participate. Extension activities include making primary sources for their character (family record, town map, pew receipts, apprenticeship agreement, and ship manifest) with the option to age the documents to make them appear more authentic. Learners will also be given weekly journal prompts to help them create a first-person account of each of the events.
