This class will explore the stories of individuals put into impossible situations and being forced to use their wits to survive. Throughout history people have found themselves in challenging survival situations and in this class we will explore those stories in detail. Course summary: Week of February 14th: Emile Lerary survives Desert by converting his broken Car to a Motorcycle Week February 21st: Joe Simpson crawls back from a mountain with two broken legs Week February 28th: Aaron Rolston becomes trapped in a canyon in the desert and must do the unthinkable to escape Week March 7th: Harrison Okene survived underwater trapped in a sunken ship Week March 14th: Ricky Megee crawls back from the Australian Outback Week 21st: Steven Callahan survives alone in an inflatable raft for weeks Week 28th: Jan Baalsrud swims across the ocean to escape pursuing Nazi soldiers during WW2 Week April 4th: The story of Sir Douglas Mawson claws his way back from the Antarctic I'll be adding new content weekly for this ongoing class so stay tuned for updates.

Parental Guidance
While this class will discuss challenging situations where people are faced with bodily injury and frightening circumstances it will be covered in an age-appropriate manner. The class will focus on the human will to survive and the stories behind those adventures.
