In this 8 week class students will learn all about the art of filmmaking and the creation of animation films. They will also get to make their own short film!

Do you love animated films? Me too! In fact when I was a boy my aunt Eleanor Audley worked for Walt Disney and was the voice of Maleficent in the Disney film. Do you love the idea of making a film and video? Do you watch YouTube and think you would love to make your own films. Well now you can. Each student will: Explore the movies and have fun. Learn how to use their creative talents. Understand the basics of how the films were made. Learn aspects of filmmaking from color and light to editing and sound.
I went to film school and got a degree in Film and TV. I then went on to win international awards and loved what I was doing. I won a film award in a national film festival with George Lucas of Star Wars fame and my aunt Eleanor Audley was the voice of Maleficent in the Disney film. Every step of the way I was an innovator. I love film and video and think these media have an opportunity to transform lives and create a better world. I look forward to working with your child! The reason I want to do that is because the film-makers and artists will create a better world, they are the voice and eyes of the people. The journalists, media artists and the dreamers who will help create peace, justice and love in the world. My goal is to help students discover their own talents and abilities while have fun and learning all about film and video.
Homework Offered
Each student will have the option to make a film of their own. Each week we will have potential assignments to help each student discover their creativity.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
